Jesse and I began Paddle Boarding a few years ago when we purchased our 1st boards. Exploring Abaco by SUP we soon realized that Abaco is the ideal location to enjoy all Stand UP Paddle boarding  has to offer. What started as a basic love for the sport emerged into a multifaceted business encompassing;  Custom Paddle Board Production, SUP Rentals, Lessons, SUP Core Fitness Classes, ECO Tours, Surf lessons and Surf excursions to some sick breaks well off the grid and much more.
 
After a disappointing experince with the purchase of a stack or good looking but very poor quality boards that were manufactured in China, we started looking into producing our own boards. We began producing light 
weight, highly durable Paddle Boards, with gortex self ventIlation systems that DO NOT DELAMINATE!

If you purchase a Paddle Board through Abaco Paddle Board you are involved in the entire production. You chose your colors, patterns, logo, foot matt, rails, rocker.... 

We design Surfing Models, Fishing Models, Flat Water and even a SUP Yoga Model!

Sarah Sams is a Bahamian who has lived her whole life, with the exception of her college years, on Green Turtle Cay, Abaco. Her family owns The Other Shore Club and Marina in Black Sound, Green Turtle Cay and Pineapples Restaurant, a successful waterfront restaurant in operation for over ten years. She is the mother of a 7 year old boy name Ethan. Sarah is a licensed real estate agent for Abaco Cays Realty. She is a water sport enthusiast who enjoys diving, sufing, sailing, wake boarding, and of course Paddle Boarding. 

Sarah is a licensed boat captain with a life time of experience navigating the Abaco chain of Cays. She has paddle boarded professionally for the last 2 years offering lessons and tours. 

If you are interested in navagating the Abaco chain of cays, learning our colorful history and exploring some of the more remote, less traveled creeks, coves and cays, you will benefit from this fun island girls local knowledge. 
Jesse Golon was first introduced to the Abacos in the early 80's when he came on a surf trip to Hope Town with long time family friends. He fell in love with Abaco and visited often. Jesse bought property at the Abaco Ocean Club in 1996 and again in 2010, where he has built a beautiful home. Abaco has always been a special place to spend quality time with his daughter Courtney who is now in her second year of college. 

Jesse is well respected in the close nit surfing community on the East Coast of Florida. He is an outstanding surfer who has surfed all over the Caribbean and South America. Jesse was recently featured in Eastern Surfing Magazine in the article, His Name is Earl. When hurricane Earl passed through Abaco Jesse introduced some top ranking professional surfers to Abaco's best kept secret, it's surf.

Jesse is an expert on the new sport of Paddle Boarding. He has seen its popularity explode in the United States and understands it's potential in Abaco.
